Music I listen to
ening to music is essential to me! Usually, I am listening to women singers like Gwen Stefani, Stevie
Nicks, Pink, Alicia Keys, Janis Joplin, Indigo Girls...I also love Bob Marley, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and classic rock like Pink Floyd and Led Zepplinn. One of
my favorite things to do is go to concerts!! The last one I saw was HEART, and they were Goddesses!!!
Books that moved me
Books have been an important part of my life since I can remember. When I was a young child, I loved writing my own stories, usually having to do with Jesus, God, or Mother Mary! I am lucky enough to have a mother who saved everything, and it was so amusing to dig through all that old stuff and look back!
Many books have touched my life, and I couldn't possibly write them all down! Authors that I love include...Dr. Doreen Virtue Ph.D., Dr. Maya Angelou, Ann Marie Macdonald, Harper Lee, SE Hinton, Judy Blume, Janet Fitch, Shel Silverstien.... Here are just a few:

Interesting facts about me
My philosphy is this....we should all strive to live in peace, accepting of all others, all races, all religions, all preferences. As the Bible says, "Be a light, not a judge," I try to live by this. I try, everyday to realize that each individual is on their own journey of discovery. We are all individual minds, with a soul connected. I believe that at the basis of every belief system is the universal truth to peace, which is, we are all one, one love....Although we may have our unique battles within our own lives, at the core we are all searching for validation and unconditional love. I believe in God, I believe that Jesus walked the Earth, was a prophet, and a teacher to many. I also believe that there are many holy written works, and although I do trust in the holy word of the Bible, I also realize that it was written by a mortal man, and many things in it are not to be taken literally, nor is it the end all be all book on living righteously. Someone once said, "You have to believe in something, or you'll fall for anything..." Well, I am confident in what I believe...that God is in all of us. That we were created in his divine love, and that we are all perfect at the core. I believe that God sent us angels, to help guide us along the way, all of us. I believe that prayer powerful, and that one light can brighten even the darkest hour.

Cycles and Rhythms....I should know by now that life is a cycle, always spinning, always twisting and turning. But somehow, I always forget, and when my "down time" comes upon me, I start to lash out at myself.
